What age players can participate?
Please refer to our League Age Chart to determine if your child is eligible to play.  We follow the Little League age charts. Each fall, we move to the next year's age chart so your child's age may be different than your child's league age.

How do I register my child to play with MELL?
To register, click on the registration button available on our homepage during open registration. This will walk you through the registration process. You will only see this button when registration is open.

I don't live in Columbia County. Can my child still play for MELL?
Our official Little League boundary is all of Columbia County. If you physically reside in Columbia County OR your child attends school in Columbia County, you are fully eligible to play for MELL. If you reside outside of Columbia County, we do encourage you to play for the Little League charter that you are assigned to.  In the case that you have a reason why it would be more convenient for you to play for MELL and/or don't have a charter that covers your area, we can help you with the information that you need to complete a waiver to be able to play for MELL.  Out of Bounds players are not guaranteed to be approved to play All-Stars.

What is MELL's refund policy?
Please view our refund policy HERE.

What is the cost to participate?
To determine the cost, you will need to view the registration page, which is available during open registration.  Registration fees are assessed by league age, not division.  The costs are subject to change each season due to the rising cost of insurance, uniforms, field Maintenace, and our continued investment in our facilities.

When does the schedule for the season come out?
This is a commonly asked questions and unfortunately, it's a hard one to answer. Our schedules aren't finalized until after teams/registration are closed. The schedule is dependent on the number of teams that we have and field availability.

When are games/practices?
Our games/practices are no set on certain days of the week. For wee-ball & Tee-ball, you can expect to be at the field 2 days per week. The older divisions, you can expect 2-3 days per week.  Practices are set by the Team manager and are dependent upon his/her personal availability & field availability.

How will I know if a game is rained out?
As soon as games or practices have been cancelled, notifications will go out via email AND will be put out on social media.

Will rained-out games be rescheduled?
In the event that a game is postponed, MELL will reschedule the game for the first Wednesday following the cancellation/postponement. In the event that a time slot is not available on the following Wednesday, the game can be rescheduled for play on either Saturday or Sunday of the same week.

Every attempt will be made to play the make-up game within the same week to ensure sufficient field availability in the event additional games are postponed prior to the conclusion of the regular season.

What happens if it starts raining during a game?
Generally, games are not stopped because of light rain. However, heavy rain and/or unsafe conditions will require the game to be stopped.
