Tee Ball

The Tee Ball baseball division is for players 'baseball' age 4-5 who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding, building from the Wee Ball division.

In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.

The primary goals of Tee Ball are to children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Basic hitting, fielding, catching and throwing fundamentals are stressed. Tee Ball is an instructional program which allows for equal playing time for all players in attendance.

No live pitching is permitted in this division. Games will be played on a field with 40 foot base paths and a distance of 105 feet along the foul lines. No score is kept. Each game consists of a maximum of 3 complete innings with each game lasting about 1:15. Games times will be 6:00pm and 7:15pm.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.
